StateWalk
StateWalk is an on-campus nighttime walking service sponsored by Apha Phi Omega, a co-ed community service fraternity. Pairs of volunteers walk with individuals from certain locations to their campus destinations Sunday through Thursday during the hours of 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.. The StateWalk office is located at the main library, room W-122 near the Red Cedar exit. In order to request a walk, students may simply go to the office and volunteers should be awaiting them. We all like to think of campus as a safe place, however it is a city too. Don't walk alone at night! For questions or more information, please email apo@msu.edu.
Student Health Insurance
All individuals should be covered by some form of health insurance. Michigan State University is pleased to offer a student health insurance plan through The Chickering Group, that provides reasonable protection against sickness and accidents at an affordable cost.
